Hey everyone! I've finally joined all of you in the "world of blogging" and hope to use my own blog to keep you all updated on what is going on with me. Ha..not too exciting.
Spring break in Mexico was awesome. I hung out with some of my closest friends, ate GREAT food, met the tallest Canadian, discovered a new passion, and talked to God in a way that I hadn't done in a while. Since 2003, Mexico has felt like my second home. It was great cooking alongside Kim and Ana again and seeing the changes God has made at EOC. The two weeks there went by way too fast. Heading back to Orange County was bittersweet. Although I couldn't wait to be back home and shower in water that wasn't salty, I knew I was going to miss my friends in Mexico. When I visit for a few days and head home, it's normal for me to be sad and miss being back there, but this time I was REALLY sad. It has only been a week since I've been back and I've talked to Ana and Kimyco a few times and cannot stop thinking about my next trip down there! I'm not sure if I'm feeling this way because I miss my friends, feel like I'm being called back or for the simple reason that I'm ready to move out of California!! Argh..I wish I knew! What I do know is that I enjoy culinary school and love the comforts of home, but am open to pack up and go wherever God wants me. Also, after my trip to see Teri Jo and the other "peeps" in Virginia, I'll come home for a day, repack, and head down to Mexico until the end of summer. Holler! =)
I am continuing to pray and waiting to hear Him loud and clear!
